Farmer’s bread (wholemeal)

Zutaten die Sie benötigen

  • 1 baking mix (e.g. Demeter) 500g
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Spelt flakes, sesame or linseed
  • 1 teaspoon of cardoon root tincture

Zubereitung

  • Knead all ingredients until a smooth dough is formed
  • Cover with a cloth and let rise for 30 minutes
  • Form into a loaf of bread and place on a greased baking tray
  • Let rise for another 45 minutes
  • Sprinkle the surface with spelt flakes, sesame or linseed
  • Bake for 10 minutes at 220°C (fan oven 200 °C)
  • Bake for 50 minutes at 200°C (fan oven 180 °C)
  • Best served slightly warm
