Easter wreath

Zutaten die Sie benötigen

  • 200g low-fat curd
  • 7 tablespoons milk
  • 6 tablespoons oil
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 80g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 400g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • possibly 50g almonds
  • 1 teaspoon of cardoon root tincture

Zubereitung

  • Mix quark with 6 tablespoons of milk, oil, egg, sugar and vanilla sugar
  • Mix flour with baking powder, cardoon powder and possibly almonds
  • Knead the whole thing with the remaining ingredients
  • Divide the dough into thirds and form into 50 cm long rolls
  • Braid and put together to form a wreath on a greased baking tray
  • Mix egg yolk with 1 tablespoon of milk and brush the wreath with it
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for about 25 – 30 minutes until golden brown
