Die Kardenwelt ist ein Familienunternehmen in Bergatreute am Rande des oberschwäbischen Allgäus. Seit dem Jahr 2007 widmen wir – die Familie Schöfer – uns intensiv der Wilden Karde. Denn wir haben ihr viel zu verdanken.
Wir glauben, um etwas wirklich gut machen zu können, muss man sich darauf konzentrieren. Und genau das ist die Philosophie der Kardenwelt. Im Lauf der Jahre sammelten wir nicht nur viel Erfahrung – sondern gewannen auch das Vertrauen vieler Menschen. Auch von Herrn Dr. Wolf-Dieter Storl, der uns als gute Quelle empfiehlt.

Cardoon World: Wild Cardoon in Premium Quality
Years ago, we were privately searching for a good teasel root tincture. What we found were products with often very weak extraction ratios and therefore little root content. So we thought: It can be done better.
This was followed by a lot of research and some experiments with wild teasel and the extraction ratio according to Storl, until finally the time came: We were able to produce a genuine full teasel root tincture in organic quality. So we first founded the Teasel Shop – and then today's Teasel World. With us in Bergatreute – in the Allgäu.

Burdock World Botany
"I also have the burdock thistle in my garden." We often hear this from our customers. In fact, this term is incorrect because the burdock is not a thistle. It belongs to the family of burdock plants, which includes the following genera:
- Burdock Dipsacus
- Widow flower Knautia
- Scabious Scabiosa
- Devil's bit Succisa
By the way, between the thorns in the picture, you can find the seeds of the wild burdock.
