What makes our full tincture so valuable for you?
We offer you especially a lot of product in the product. In every product. How do we manage that? The answer is as simple as it is logical: with the use of a lot of plant, that is, a lot of wild teasel. Annual, freshly harvested, and immediately gently processed.
Plant extracts like our teasel root full tinctures are traditionally made using the maceration process. We use the high ratio of 1:1 (according to Storl, book "Naturally Healing Lyme Disease").
This means in detail:
- First, we crush the annual and freshly harvested roots of the wild teasel. We fill a stainless steel barrel with the chopped roots – right up to the top edge.
- Next, the carrier liquid is added: either alcohol or glycerin (alcohol-free). We also fill this liquid up to the top edge in the stainless steel barrel. Then we seal the barrel for three weeks.
- During this time, the carrier liquid dissolves the active ingredients of the wild teasel from the roots. This dissolving is called maceration.
An important note on storage:
- You can store the organic teasel root full tinctures at room temperature if you protect them from direct sunlight.
- Please store the alcohol-free organic teasel root full tinctures in the refrigerator.

Dosage Instructions for Kardenwelt Organic Cardoon Tinctures
On average, our customers take the organic cardoon tincture twice a day:
- Alcohol-based tincture: 2×30 drops (100ml lasts about 1 month)
- Alcohol-free tincture: 2×50 drops (100ml lasts about 20 days)
Of course, we can be even more precise:
- The organic cardoon tincture is taken pure or in a glass of water.
- Best in the morning and evening about 12 hours apart.
- At least half an hour before or after meals.
This is how to start with the cardoon root tincture from Kardenwelt:
- In the first week:
– Alcoholic full tincture: 2 × 5 drops per day.
– Alcohol-free full tincture: 2 × 10 drops per day. - From the second week:
– Alcoholic full tincture: 2 × 30 drops per day.
– Alcohol-free full tincture: 2 x 50 drops per day.
200ml is a good starting amount for both variants. This size gives you the opportunity to experiment with the dosage due to its duration. There are no harmful effects and no habituation effect from the wild cardoon (note the alcohol content). After about six weeks, results can be well evaluated.
Over a longer period (>½ year), 2×10 (alcoholic) or 2 x 15 (alcohol-free) drops can be useful if…
- You want to support your normal detoxification.
- You take the cardoon purely preventively.
- You take the cardoon regularly.
The alcoholic tinctures are not suitable for children and pregnant women. Also not for animals, as dogs and horses, for example, cannot efficiently break down the contained alcohol. We recommend the organic cardoon root capsules here.
Recommendations for the alcohol-free cardoon tincture for dogs:
- 50 drops/day for dogs over 15 kilos, below that 30 drops/day
- With water or by pipette
Recommendations for the alcohol-free cardoon tincture for horses:
- 2×50 drops/day if given twice daily
- 1×150 drops/day if given once daily
- With water or by pipette
