Teasel World in the Allgäu: A family business with heart and mind

We love one plant, Wild Teasel.
It all started in 2007 with literature, including from ethnobotanist Wolf-Dieter Storl. First, we discovered the role Wild Teasel has played for centuries in folk medicine. Then we were hooked and knew: Wild Teasel is exactly our thing. Also because we owed it a lot due to three Lyme disease cases in the family.

So that it becomes your thing too, we see ourselves as ambassadors of this amazing plant. For this, as Teasel World, we produce tinctures, powders, and capsules as well as tea and balm. All from Wild Teasel, all under the motto “Live more.” And all naturally in organic quality.

  • We are specialized in Wild Teasel and put a lot of passion into our work every day. You can feel that.
  • Our communication is transparent and honest – because it is important to us that you understand and trust us.
  • Our products are high quality – because we want to convince you. Again and again.

“We” are, by the way, the Schöfer family from Bergatreute and Leutkirch in the Allgäu. In short: Brigitte and Jan Schöfer, three children, two cats, one dog. Grandparents and some other helpers.
And everyone works motivated – with heart and mind.

Teasel World: Premium quality from the Allgäu

This is what quality means to us:

  • Especially a lot of product in the product. We produce according to Storl (ratio 1:1) so that you get a lot of Wild Teasel.
  • Cooperation with certified organic farmers. This ensures that the plants are free from contaminants, for example. This naturally also applies to our own cultivation areas.
  • Work as a manufactory: Almost the entire process from cultivation to the finished product is done gently by hand. This preserves the valuable plant ingredients as best as possible.
  • Genuine advice. So you find the ideal product for yourself.

Of course: The Teasel World is organic

But what does an official organic certification mean?

  • Annual inspections. Both announced and unannounced
  • Minimize contamination: all cultivation areas are free of pesticide residues
  • Compatible for humans and animals: No use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides
  • Sustainable cultivation: Crop rotation on the cultivation areas preserves nutrients in the soil
  • Safe production: In addition to the organic teasel, all other production materials are certified

“Good advice builds trust”

Just give us a call if you are unsure. You will always speak with a family member who has the appropriate experience, so no call center.
Whether it’s about the right dosage or more information about the product. If you don’t yet know whether or how to use the wild teasel. For questions about your invoice or an order. And of course for all other topics. The Teasel World is – almost – always there for you.

You know: Our communication is transparent and honest – because it is important to us that you understand and trust us.
