In literature, the focus is mostly on the hidden part of the wild teasel. The book "Borreliose natürlich heilen" by Wolf-Dieter Storl, for example, describes the preparation of a tincture from the fresh teasel root. However, it is wrong to concentrate only on this part.
The wild teasel also has a lot to offer above ground. In particular, the bitter aromatic compounds in the leaves are impressively intense.
Bitter compounds can stimulate the and are therefore often used alongside therapies against pathogens or after dental treatments. However, the leaf tea from the wild organic teasel does not have a direct effect on borrelia.

And now some good news for the environment: The packaging is 100% compostable, so it can be disposed of in the home garden. The zip closure is made of bio-plastic and also breaks down naturally.
