The cardoon roots are hand-harvested by us from organically certified cultivation, cleaned, and gently dried. We use special drying devices for the gentle drying process that preserves all aromas and nutrients. The result is the cardoon root aroma blend. In the consistency of a tea.

A cardoon root tea is also described in the book "Borreliose natürlich heilen" by Wolf-Dieter Storl. It is made exactly like our dried roots. For formal reasons, however, we point out that German food law does not allow cardoon root as tea. Therefore, our products are neutral aroma blends.

With our dried leaves and roots of wild cardoon, the strong aroma must be preserved. The packaging must therefore be resealable. We achieve this with a zip closure that ensures lasting aroma even after unsealing.

And now some good news for the environment: The packaging is 100% compostable, so it can be disposed of in the home garden. The zip closure is made of bio-plastic and also breaks down naturally.
